Made Flat Abstract was a group show at a flat in Glasgow Southside on Saturday 19th and Sunday the 20th of September. It was part of the programming of Glasgow Art Map Art Weekend. The show came to be because I saw a flat show during Southside Art Weekend in 2025. When the 2026 weekend was announced, I applied for the open call and invited all my fellow Southside-based MFA students: graduates and current student Joseph; later, I also added my besties, Sophie, Eimhear and Choin, because why not. We moved the furniture into the bedrooms. The artwork selection process was simple: give me a work, tell me about it, and I will show it. The hanging was done with the help of Choin and Hannah Miller.
